Funds in other University locations
Precious scientific archives are preserved in some Departments and Centers of the University:
- the manuscript collection with papers by Bonelli, De Filippi, Ghiliani and a copy of letters by Lessona (1823-94) at the Library of the Department of Animal Biology;
- the funds Fano, Terracini e Secrets at the Mathematics Library;
- the Paul Ernst Kahle archive, one of the central figures of 20th century Orientalism, at the Library of the Department of Oriental Studies;
- the Erik Peterson archive at the Interdepartmental Library of Religious Studies; the inventory is contained in the volume "L'archivio Erik Peterson all'Università di Torino";
- letters, unpublished manuscripts of Piedmontese botanists, catalogs and "statements" of the Botanical Garden containing information on the exchange of seeds and plants in boxes (since 1761) at the Herbarium and the Library of the Department of Plant Biology;
- a fund of manuscript notes, photographs, miscellany relating to Egyptian material at the Museum of anthropology and ethnography;
- the papers of Guido Gozzano, Cesare Pavese and other Piedmontese writers in the Center for Studies of Italian Literature in Piedmont "Guido Gozzano - Cesare Pavese";
- the archive of the Institute of Geology and Paleontology, preserved by "Malaroda" Library of the Department of Earth Sciences, in which, among other things, documents relating to the collections of the Museum of Geology and Paleontology, geological maps, photographic plates are preserved;
- the Ginatta fund at the Pharmacy Library "Icilio Guareschi";
- The fund of the Institute of Experimental Psychology of the University of Turin (Federico Kiesow papers) at the Psychology Library;
- the ampelograph archive Joseph of Rovasenda and that of the professor Giovanni Dalmasso, both preserved at the Agricultural Library;
- the historical archive of the Institute of Normal human anatomy (18th century-1987), the personal funds of Carlo Giacomini (XVIII-1932) e Romeo Fusari (1895-1919); the historical archive of Institute of Physiology (1785-1967), the fund of the physiologist Angelo Mosso (1861-1938) and that of the gynecologist Filippo Lessona (1825-1926); the funds Cesare Lombroso, "Cesare Lombroso" Museum, donation Carrara and donation Ferrero, all at the University Museum System.
