Organization

The University Archives are divided into two sections: the Historical Archives and the Records Repository.

The Historical Archives welcome users in the reading room, catalogue the documentation available for public consultation, and promote the archival heritage through exhibitions and publications.

The Records Repository, on the other hand, preserves the documentation produced by the University’s administrative offices and reserved for internal users (Italian Legislative Decree no. 42/2004, articles 30 and 122–124 concerning access to documents). Procedures for records selection and transfer are described in the University Intranet.
